This workshop is so much more than just another styled shoot. We put on full-day elopements for photographers & videographers that want to get into adventure elopements and that want to build their portfolio.
Audio and drone shots are provided to each attendee for them to use as they may. Our goal is to supply you with everything you need in order to showcase your work.
Potential clients will not only be able to see what you offer, but also see themselves in your work.

3 Full Elopement Content Days
My workshop is designed to showcase 3 full elopements days from start to finish. We want to capture everything like a real elopement day starting from establishing shots, getting ready shots, ceremony and everything else in between. This is so much more than getting the hero shots - you are capturing an elopement day as if it were real. With a real couple, real vows, and real elopement experience.
After this workshop you will have true life experience shooting 3 elopement days, learn how to find epic locations to shoot at, and build an Elopement Day Timeline. Most importantly, you will be able to share your gallery on your website and social media to showcase potential clients what your brand is all about.Lodging, Meals and Transportation
We will be staying in an epic spot near Vik, Iceland! Every person will get their own bed.
All meals, transportation and lodging is covered during the workshop. What is not offered is getting to the hostel from the airport but I can take anyone in the van the morning of Day 1. Attendees will be added to a private Facebook group that will be updated with our plans so you will be able to connect with fellow photographers and share rides based on when you arrive.
Some meals will be done in the hostel like breakfast and our welcome dinner but others will be in cafes/diners near the coast!Education Zoom Courses
I have crafted 3 different Zoom education courses before the workshop! Zoom calls will be recorded for later viewing for those that can’t make them.
We will be covering everything from learning basic SEO skills, critiquing your websites and optimizing them for future clients, how to make the most out of the workshop shoots, and even learning how we scout locations and find epic spots to shoot in! This will give you experience and an inside look to how we work with our clients.Freedom!
One of the biggest benefits of this workshop is that you are not required to tag it or state that it is a workshop (like others do). We want you to use these shoots and portray them as real life experience and make them look as authentic as possible!
All that we ask is that you tag the couples and vendors like you normally would!Community of other Artists
And finally we will add you to a big group of other photographers and videographers! This FB group is perfect to run ideas with, ask for advice, team up with, and anything else you want to use it for!

The hard work starts now - trying to do the shoot justice with the edits. Silly - but this inexperienced fella feels a great weight on his shoulders to do this justice. To squeeze every bit of how I feel about this shoot into these edits. It's gonna be tough. But hopefully I'll do you proud.

Meet your Host
Hey there!
Thank you for your interest in this workshop! This is all about you getting to where you want to be and having fun and inspire along the way. I have been a professional wedding photographer for over seven years and have done elopements for over four years full time. I started out doing family photos, senior sessions and couple photos like everyone else. I knew I wanted to take my photography to the next level and that's when I started shooting weddings. I had no prior experience, and was still learning how to use my camera as well as struggling to find the editing style. When I first started weddings I had taken a couple expensive courses to learn as much as I could and while that did help I still felt like I just needed to talk to someone to answer some questions.
I contacted a local photographer after a while and sat down with her to do an open Q&A at a Starbucks. And let me tell you – I learned so much more from her in that hour than the hours and money from the courses I took.
Then, I took my very first international workshop in Iceland and it completely changed my business. Once I started shooting internationally I began to book more and more and more elopements. Clients have to see that you can do it; it is not enough just to say you do.
Whether you are new to weddings or want to get into elopement photography this workshop can help you get on the right track. Take control of your business and really drive it to where you wanna go - it is possible!

FAQs
What airport do I fly into?
You will fly into the Keflavik airport (KEF).
I am new to photography and my camera, will this be a good workshop for me?
I am there to help you with navigating how to shoot a full elopement day, how to pose, story-tell, and will be covering education pieces prior. That being said I will not have the resources or time, during the workshop, to help you learn your camera. However, if you just need help with camera settings for different lighting situations I am there for you!
Will the Zoom calls be recorded for future use?
Yes! I will record all calls and post them in the FB group so you can refer back to them whenever you want to watch them.
I am new to workshops, what are they like and what can I expect?
These types of workshops are nothing short of fun, fulfilling and adventurous. You are with other photographers and videographers who are eager to learn and we become one big family as cheesy as that sounds. After every workshop- friendships are made, business partners are made, and you leave with knowledge you didn’t even know existed by learning from others. I can’t express how much of a great time it is!!
