Nick Patton has been a tour guide for over 2 years and has toured groups all over the world with places like Tulum, Italy and of course Iceland!
Nick is also a professional photographer photographing weddings all over the world like Greece, Italy, Iceland, Norway, Spain and Mexico.
Airport
You will fly into Keflavik (KEF) airport which is about 45min away from Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland.
What to Bring
Iceland’s weather is unpredictable sometimes and it is always good to be prepared. Rain and wind resistant boots and pants are recommended along with insulated shoes/boots. Layers are a good idea along with bringing hand warmers.
Passport
Iceland accepts U.S. passports and there are no COVID restrictions since Feb 2022. You can learn more here.
Flights
You can look on Google Flights to view the best days to fly in and out of Iceland.
Cell Service
It is always recommended to call your service provider ahead of time to let them know you will be out of the country. However, all service providers will have an international plan when you use your phone outside of the country and most are $10-20 a day. Use Wi-Fi as much as you can to save on usage.
Family Friendly
This tour is family friendly! It is recommended that ages 14 and up attend this tour for the best experience.
Transportation
We will all be driving together in a Mercedes 12 passenger van! We will pick you up from the airport and handle all transportation for the duration of the tour! At the end of the tour, we will either drop you off at the airport or Downtown Reykjavik if you plan on extending your stay!
Accessibility
Most locations are very easy to get to with minimal hiking. Our glacier/ice cave tour will require moderate hiking that is good for even the beginner hikers. The tour will provide all of the necessary equipment for the hike such as crampons and safety equipment.

Locations
We will be visiting a dozen locations on this tour ranging from raging waterfalls to vast flower fields, glaciers and viewpoints! A list of most of the locations we are going to is on the timeline section.
Blue Lagoon
We will be visiting the infamous Blue Lagoon at the beginning of the tour! Bring your swimsuit and the facility will provide a robe, slippers, face masks and a free beer or wine.
Lodging
We will be staying in a couple different locations throughout West and South Iceland. There are options to stay in either a hotel or shared Airbnb (prices will vary).

Blue Lagoon
Your ticket covers admission into the famous Blue Lagoon! Enjoy the healing waters in this hot spring along with mud masks and a drink! Your ticket covers:

Glacier Tour
It’s not called the land of fire and ice for nothing! We will be exploring on a real glacier!
This half day excursion is something you don’t want to miss. After strapping on your crampons, helmet and safety gear we will hike up a glacier in Eastern Iceland.
Moderate hiking level is required but we will be going at a slow pace for photos and site seeing.

Sky Lagoon
Immerse yourself in warmth at our oceanside geothermal lagoon at the end of our trip!
Experience their rejuvenating 7 ritual experience including ice baths, sauna, mist showers and more!
There's a modern element to Sky Lagoon that's warm and inviting. But at each turn, you'll notice unique and historical elements. For example, the turf-house inspired architecture includes a wall built with a herringbone pattern made by layers of turf (grass and the surface layer of earth held together by its roots).
